THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

The State Representative-Governor in Imereti – Shavlego Tabatadze monitored rehabilitation works of 17 public schools in the region, funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation. More than 10 million GEL has been allocated for this purpose, which will cover rehabilitation costs of 50.500 square meters and improve education conditions for up to 10.000 pupils.

The Governor of Imereti visited ongoing works in Zestaponi, Terjola and Kutaisi, together with the representatives of local self-governments and the chairman of National Assessment and Examinations Center.

The project will provide renovation of school facility/building, procurement of lab equipment and simulators for vocational education, installation of heating systems.

Around 1000 local workers are hired for school rehabilitation works. According to the plan the project is will be finished in 2019.
