State Representative-Governor in Imereti Region – Shavlego Tabatadze held a meeting with the representatives from Terjola and Tkibuli local self-governments and was briefed about the ongoing projects.

“Imereti region has a huge potential for development and I am confident that we will employ this resource in such a manner, as to make it beneficial to the citizens. All 12 municipalities should develop equally and the local population should have strong incentives to stay in their regions. Together, we should make Imereti region attractive to tourists and locals alike. I am aware that the region faces particular types of problems, though I’ll spare no effort and resolve them step-by-step. Today I was briefed about ongoing situation in Terjola and Tkibuli Municipalities and reviewed the development plan of those entities. The local self-government is working along these lines, but there is the need of my personal participation, in order to jointly come up with the effective action plan” – stated the   Governor in Imereti Region.
