THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

State Representative-Governor in Imereti Region – Shavlego Tabatadze started the working meetings with the municipalities. The Governor visited Sachkhere and Chiatura, met with local mayors and received up to date information about ongoing and planned projects that should be implemented in 2018. Additionally, they reviewed social and economic challenges to the local population.

“I have announced that I will visit municipalities and get the first-hand information. This is why I started the meetings from Upper Imereti and met with mayors, chairmen/members of the municipal council and heads of the various offices. Together we reviewed all issues in detail and made some plans for the future projects. I will hold the similar meetings with other municipalities in the upcoming days and I’ll increase my presence in the process of timely resolution of most problems. One of my primary goals is to involve the local population in regional development process, together with the local self-government and formulate priorities together” – said the Governor in Imereti Region.
