THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

On May 25, 2018 joint Georgian-Indian tea producing company “Synergy Nine” opened at LEPL "Business Incubator" of Abkhazia and the presentation of the rehabilitated factory of the primary food processing plant of Rioni tea. The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-Governor in Imereti Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, Chairman   of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia  - Vakhtang Kolbaia, Indian investors and other invited guests.

Within the week of Abkhazia and the 100th anniversary of Georgia's independence the Economic Council under the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia hosted Indian investors and held the first outreach session in Kutaisi.

IDPs from Imereti region invited at the Economic Council meeting presented their projects that aim at deepening various business relationships with Indian partners and implementing joint projects. Project includes employing the IDPs and local residents living in the region.
