THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

State Representative-Governor in Imereti Givi Chichinadze, along with his first deputy Grigol Dalakishvili and heads of regional municipalities attended the festive reception at the Parliament of Georgia dedicated to the State Flag of Georgia.

Parliamentary hall was decorated with the coat of arms and flags of all municipalities of Georgia, as well as symbols of self-governing cities. The visitors were also provided with the opportunity to view portolan charts (maritime navigational maps) from various museums and libraries, which depicted five-star historical maps of Georgia.

The event was opened by the Chairman of the Heraldic Council of Georgia Eldar Shengelaia and Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated guests with the day of national flag.
