THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

The first post-electoral Regional Consultation Council meeting was held in Tskaltubo Municipality. The Meeting was attended by the Vice-Governor of Imereti Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, Mayors of Imereti municipalities and chairmen of the local legislative bodies. Initially the council members were informed about the legal basis of the Consultation Council, followed by the discussions of the ongoing issues.

Imereti municipalities reviewed implementation of local budgets and adopted relevant recommendations. The meeting also touched upon active participation of the Imereti municipalities in the Assembly of European Regions and the EU project “Mayors for Economic Growth”.
