Baghdati Municipality celebrated public festivity “Baghdatoba 2017” with diverse and memorable events.

The festivity started with the liturgy at the Baghdati Cathedral, after which the guests have left for the ethnic corners, and familiarized themselves with local folk art and cuisine.

Within “Baghdatoba 2017”, the Cultural Center of Baghdati hosted the ceremony of awarding honorary citizenships and a concert by the local artists.

The public festivity was attended by the Metropolitan of Vani and Baghdati Anton, State Representative-Governor in Imereti Givi Chichinadze, First Vice-Governor Grigol Dalakishvili, Vice-Governor Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, Acting Mayor of Baghdati Archil Goksadze, Mayors from the Imereti Municipalities and other guests.
