Visit of Georgian Delegation to China
Delegation of Georgia, headed by the Executive Director of the Partnership Fund Mr. David Saganelidze visited People’s Republic of China. The delegation included State Representrative-Governor in Imereti Region Mr. Givi Chichinadze, Members of Parliament and representatives from the Partnership Fund. David Saganelidze also headed the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), as the special representative of the Assembly in the “One Belt, One Road” projects.
The main topics of the “Silk Road Business Summit 2017”, held in the city of Xian, China, was economic globalization, deepening of trade-economic partnership among the partner states, deepening of inclusiveness of public sector in the “One Belt, One Road” initiative,, establishment of the financial platform and discussion of the strategic project of the century.
“Georgia is becoming the gateway between Europe and Asia” - said Executive Director David Saganelidze at the “Silk Road Business Summit 2017”, which was attended by more than 600 representatives from around 70 countries, and Georgia among them.
