THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

Deputy Governor of the Imereti Region Aleko Iosebashvili and the Head of the Executive Body of the Kharagauli Municipality Koba Lursmanashvili met with the inhabitants of village Makatubani. The village is situated on the bank of the river Dzirula and local residents have been travelling to reach the main road with the help of suspension bridge for 20 years. Kindergarten and school building is on the other side of the river. Two bridges, both of them suspensions, border Makatubani on two sides. So among the essential requirements of the inhabitants, rehabilitations of the bridges are the most important.

''We have promised the public to reconstruct one bridge this year, and instead of the second one the capital construction of the second bridge has already begun''- said Aleko Iosebashvili, who viewed the works together with the Head of the Executive Body of the Municipality.

After Makatubani, Deputy Governor and the Head of the Municipality visited Kitskhi and Vardzia territorial units and the construction of the nursery school funded by the Regional Development Fund. They also visited Boriti kindergarten part of which is damaged.

''This year, we promise Boriti population to regulate and rehabilitate the building of the kindergarten. The project will cost about 200 thousand GEL. In addition, in Kharagauli a lot of important projects are carried out. For their successful completion the support of Regional Administration is crucially important, that we feel on a daily basis'' - says the Head of the Municipality Koba Lursmanashvili.

At the end of the visit, the visitors presented the students of the Sports School new uniforms, basketballs, footballs and other necessary equipments.
