"I am happy that the mutual cooperation between China and Georgia has moved to a new stage. A clear example of the deepening of diplomatic and friendly relations between our countries is the meeting between the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili and the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, where a decision was made for even closer cooperation between Georgia and the People's Republic of China.
Georgia values friendship and partnership with China. We are ready to cooperate in many directions.
As for our official visit to China, this is a new opportunity and challenge for the development of the region specifically for Imereti. I believe that the memorandum signed between the parties will bring concrete results and benefits for both parties" - Zviad Shalamberidze.
After the signing ceremony, the Governor attended the 12th Alcoholic Beverage Exhibition, which is one of the largest and growing in its scope in China. At the exhibition, the Imerian Wine Association presented Imerian wines, which were highly appreciated.
