Members of the central and local governments attended the ceremony of the presentation of the Silleto Award
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, together with the representatives of the central and local government, was at the Vani Archaeological Museum, where he attended the ceremony of the presentation of the Siletto Award and personally congratulated the museum staff on the title of winner of the European Museum Award EMYA2023.
The Otar Lortkipanidze Vani Archaeological Museum of the National Museum of Georgia received the Silleto Prize on May 6 at the EMYA 2023 award ceremony in Barcelona.
The museum has gained international recognition as an outstanding center that has a special potential to make positive changes for the benefit of society.
The Silleto Award is presented annually to the best museum in Europe for its activities for the benefit of the community and exceptional involvement in the museum life of the community.
The Siletto Transitional Award will be awarded to the winning museum for one year.
