In Kutaisi, on Kupradze Street, the rehabilitation of the sports hall has been completed.

A complex climbing wall and a basketball hall were arranged in the building, it was equipped with safety mattresses, the roof, door and window, water supply and electricity systems were changed.

The project cost more than 700,000 GEL and was financed by the pilot regions integrated development program.

Zviad Shalamberidze, the State Representative in Imereti, inspected the renovated sports hall together with the mayor of Kutaisi and other representatives of the local government.

Rock climbing is a very popular sport in Kutaisi, and this new gym will contribute to the development of this sport.
