The main Christmas tree in Kutaisi was ceremonially lit.
Today, Kutaisi joined the New Year's events planned by the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia.
New Year's market, exhibition-sales, concerts were held in the central square of the city throughout the day. Children were offered various entertainment activities in the children's spaces, Santa Claus distributed gifts.
New Year's events on December 24 ended with the concert of the "New One" band and fireworks.
