In 7 municipalities of Imereti, the liquidation works of the problems caused by the strong wind are actively underway.

Since the morning, relevant services have been mobilized and in order to eliminate delays, various measures are being implemented on the ground. Also, special groups have been created in the municipalities, which go to the locations and calculate the damage. In addition, a hotline has been launched in municipalities, where citizens can call in case of problems.

Mainly in municipalities, strong winds caused trees to fall, power poles to be damaged and buildings to lose their roofs.

All special services throughout the region are fully prepared to go to the scene of the accident and provide appropriate assistance to the population.

The strong wind caused problems in: Kutaisi, Khoni, Samtredia, Tskaltubo, Tkibuli, Terjola and Sachkhere.
