A new community center has opened in Baghdati
The Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani has opened the 82nd community center in the city of Baghdati. The event was attended by: Zviad Shalamberidze, State Representative in Imereti, Koba Lursmanashvili, Majoritarian MP from Kharagauli and Baghdati, Archil Gogsadze, Mayor of Baghdati Municipality, Soso Giorgadze, Executive Director of the House of Justice and Zurab Sanikidze, Chairman of the Public Service Development Agency. Community centers offer customers a variety of services, simplified procedures, access to information technology and modern infrastructure. Baghdati Community Center is the nineteenth in Imereti region. The centers operate in Satsire, Zeda Sazano, Geguti, Shorapani, Zeindari, Meore Sviri, Ghoresha, Kitskhi, Khevi, Korbouli, Khreiti, Didi Jikhaishi, Usakhelo, Tkibuli, Sachkhere, Kharagauli, Chiatura and Vani. The community center will serve up to 27,000 residents of Baghdati and surrounding villages - Dimi, Vartsikhe, Zegni, First and Second Obchi, Nergeeti, Rokiti, Rokhi, Sakrauli, Fersati, Tsitelkhevi, Khani and others. The modern building of the center, whose infrastructure is adapted for people with disabilities, was built on Kakhiani Street. In the community center, the local population will be able to use more than 200 public and private sector services quickly, in a comfortable environment, without leaving the place. According to the so-called single window principle, the customer can get a passport / ID card, register real estate, get a cadastral plan or archival service, etc. The services of the National Tourism Administration and the Rural and Agricultural Development Agency are available from the opening day at the Baghdad Community Center. These services have become available in the Houses of Justice and Community Centers as part of the program Government - Your Partner. The aim of the program is to stimulate the development of entrepreneurship and farms. The presentation of the program was held by the Prime Minister of Georgia on August 21 in Ambrolauri. The newly opened community center has a library equipped with the latest technology, where printed publications are kept along with e-books. Printed and digital library, free internet allows adults and young people to acquire knowledge using modern teaching methods. To stimulate the civic engagement of the local population, the center has a meeting room equipped with modern equipment, where information-educational meeting, presentation and distance learning of various contents can be held. The center will also offer Magti and Liberty Bank services, which will allow retirees to receive their pensions without leaving the place, and young people will be able to use the 24-hour wireless internet free of charge.
As part of the opening ceremony of the building, a fun quiz on the activities of the community center was held. The festive mood of the locals, along with the host of the event, was taken care of by animators and illusionists accompanied by an entertaining show program; After the official part of the opening, the concert was held.
