Today in Kutaisi, State Representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze together with First Deputy Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, Deputy Besik Gopodze, Acting Mayor of Kutaisi Davit Eremeishvili and Kutaisi Majoritarian MP Genadi Margvelashvili In connection with the 12th anniversary of the August Russian-Georgian war, laid a wreath at the Memorial to the Fallen. Representatives of the local community and Chokhosnebi were present at the wreath laying ceremony at memorial. At the Heroes Memorial took place the commemorate ceremony for the souls of the fallen. A photo-exhibition prepared by A (A) IP "Union of Cultural, Artistic, and Educational Institutions of Kutaisi" was organized there, which reflects Kutaisi during the August war.
