Construction of a college has started in Tskaltubo municipality

In order to increase access to vocational education, a vocational college will be launched in Tskaltubo Municipality. Construction of the college is at an early stage at this time. Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, personally got acquainted with the construction works started in Imereti together with the State Representative Zviad Shalamberidze.

Infrastructure in line with modern standards will fully meet the needs of people with disabilities; the facility will be equipped with the latest technologies, central heating and cooling system; Along with the study spaces, there will be a conference hall, a library, a sports field, as well as yard improvement. The college will start functioning in 2021 and, depending on the needs of Tskaltubo municipalities, will offer programs mainly in tourism, engineering technologies and agriculture. The project is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia and the active involvement of the local self-government.
