The students of Kutaisi vocational education college “Iberia” were awarded
Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, and Zviad Shalamberidze, State Representative in Imereti, visited Kutaisi vocational education college “Iberia” and handed over Certificates of appreciation and gifts to students and college staff involved in the sewing process of the masks. In the context of the coronavirus pandemic, when the demand for the masks was particularly high, part of the college staff became involved in the process of production of masks. Among them is Kutaisi vocational education college “Iberia”, where about 30 students and staff, with the active support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, sewed up to 40,000 personal masks and handed them over to the Ministry of Economy. The process of producing masks in colleges was carried out in compliance with all the recommendations. "Iberia" is a multidisciplinary vocational education institution, which offers young people and adults, professions adapted to the needs of the region in the fields of electricity, information technology, sewing, cooking, restaurant services, accounting and others.
