THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

State Representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze, together with First Deputy Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, Tskaltubo Mayor Grigol Ioseliani and Tskaltubo Majoritarian MP Tsotne Zurabyan, inaugurated the bust of the famous Georgian classic writer Otia Ioseliani. This is the first monument placed in one of the most prominent representatives of Georgian literature in his hometown. The event was attended by local government officials, famous writers and public figures: Vano Japaradze, Giorgi Kekelidze, Gizo Tavadze, Avtandil Kurashvili, Elguja Tavberidze, Zaliko Ebanoidze and the writer's family members. Also, a literary performance was held in connection with the opening ceremony of the bust and the 90th anniversary of the writer's birth was symbolically celebrated. The idea of the bust belongs to the mayor of the municipality Grigol Ioseliani, 28321.18 GEL was spent from the local budget for its construction,  the winner of the tender and creator is  the "House of Decorations and Sculptures". Today, the representatives of the region and local authorities visited the writer's house in the village of Gvishtib, in the yard of which Otia Ioseliani is buried, according to his will.
