The State Representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze together with the Mayor of Khoni Municipality Lado Jurkhadze inspected the works on arranging the road infrastructure in the municipality. Rehabilitation of the road connecting the villages of Gocha-Jikhaishi and Gubi in Khoni Municipality is already nearing completion. The project is funded by the Regional Development Fund and a total of 3,065 meters of asphalt-concrete road will be constructed. Consequently, locals will be able to move faster, safer and more comfortably. According to the State Representative in Imereti, works will be carried out on about 2000 objects throughout Imereti this year. "Infrastructure works are underway in Imereti, about 500 objects are currently underway, we have completed about 200 objects, and the works will be expanded to a total of 2000 objects this year and will be completed by the end of the year. This concerns road infrastructure, schools, preschool institutions, etc., "- said Zviad Shalamberidze.
