Kutaisi, for the first time in history, enjoys uninterrupted, 24-hour water supply,- The second phase of construction of Kutaisi water supply infrastructure has already been completed by United Water Supply Company. The Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia got acquainted with the implemented project together with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili and the State Representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze. Two reservoirs were built in Godogan and one in Mukhrani as part of the project. Also, three pumping stations, 18 km of water main pipeline and 300 km of internal distribution network were arranged. As a result of the project, more than 200 thousand residents of Kutaisi will be supplied with water 24 hours a day. The Prime Minister thanked the Asian Development Bank for its financial support of the project, which has invested more than  80 million GEL in infrastructure works.
