The Prime Minister, Giorgi Gakharia, got acquainted with the process of construction of a new terminal at Kutaisi International Airport, which is going on intensively. Georgia is expecting international tourists from 1st July, therefore, given the challenges of the global pandemic, the highest security standards in the country's airports are being actively introduced. - The Prime Minister of Georgia, together with the Deputy Prime Minister Maia Tskitishvili and the state representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze visited the Kutaisi Davit Agmashenebeli International Airport today, where the construction of a new terminal is underway. Giorgi Gakharia got acquainted with the construction works envisaged by the second phase of the project and received detailed information from the head of the Airports Union of the Ministry of Economy. In parallel with the construction of the new terminal at Kutaisi International Airport, the works defined in the third stage of construction are underway. In addition, the Polish company Dimark Group is installing modern systems at the airport, which will make the trip even more comfortable.
