Schools are being built in the villages of Tskaltubo Municipality, in Geguti and Tskaltubo. State Representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze, together with Tskaltubo Mayor, got acquainted with the construction process on the spot. A two-storey building in accordance with international standards for 240 students will be built in the village of Geguti. The project is funded with 3,534,000 GEL from the Municipal Development Fund. In addition to the building, there will be a sports field and the surrounding area. As for the construction of the current school in the village of Tskaltubo, it is funded by the Municipal Development Fund with 3,691,400 GEL and is intended for 240 students. The three-storey building will be built in full compliance with international standards. There will also be a school yard. There was no school building in the village and students were studying in a rented private house. In 2020, up to one million GEL has been allocated for educational infrastructure in Tskaltubo municipality.
