Three new schools are being built in Terjola municipality and ten are being rehabilitated. Zviad Shalamberidze, State Representative in Imereti, and Lasha Gogiashvili, Acting Mayor of Terjola Municipality, visited one of the school under construction today. According to Zviad Shalamberidze, the works should be carried out smoothly throughout the region, but the recommendations of the Ministry of Health regarding COVID- 19 must be taken into account. There are 24 public schools in Terjola municipality - 3 new ones are being built and 10 are being rehabilitated. 481 000 GEL will be spent for the rehabilitation and bathrooms will be arranged. The construction of three new schools, which will cost a total of 4,632,500 GEL, will be completed on time and 200 students will have a new school. 2,416,000 GEL allocated from the Ministry of Education will be spent on the construction of a public school for 150 children in the village of Siktarva. A small school for 60 children will be built in the village of Chkhari, for which GEL 1,092,500 will be allocated from the Municipal Development Fund, and 1,124,000 GEL will be allocated from the MDF for the construction of the second building of the Zeda Sazano Public School.
