13.5 tons of herbs were exported from the greenhouse of Patriketi village today. Zviad Shalamberidze, State Representative in Imereti and mayor of Tskhaltubo, Grigol Ioseliani visited a greenhouse in the village of Patriketi, Tskhaltubo municipality, from which 13.5 tons of herbs were exported today. The greenhouse is based on a preferential agro-credit program and has been operating for the last few years.
According to the head of the greenhouse, they have not stopped their activities against the background of the pandemic and about 30 employees are actively working.
The greenhouse, which is located on 8.5 m2, is mainly exported, in the winter season they grow herbs, and in the summer season cucumbers and tomatoes, which are also exported.
At the moment, 13.5 tons of herbs are being loaded in the trucks, which will leave the village by the end of the day.
As Zviad Shalamberidze stated during his visit to the mentioned enterprise, the state will actively encourage the entrepreneurs who have not stopped working and are still actively working.
