State Representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze Visits Block Posts in Kutaisi

 

State Representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze and Acting Mayor of Kutaisi Davit Eremeishvili have been present at the block posts in Kutaisi since the morning. They personally got acquainted with the situation after the imposition of restrictions and talked to the representatives of the law enforcement agencies at the checkpoints. At the moment, Kutaisi is closed, the movement of vehicles in the direction of the city is reduced, only distribution vehicles and employees of the vital facilities who do not live in Kutaisi are moving. There are 9 main block posts in Kutaisi, 9 checkpoints are located on secondary roads.

Also, the Kutaisi bypass highway has been opened on both sides, on which the traffic was possible only unilaterally for a certain period of time, and due to the current situation, the vehicles will move on both sides.

According to the decision of the Government of Georgia, Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi and Batumi will be closed for ten days from 21:00 on April 15, 2020.
