Memorandum of Understanding has been signed at Kutaisi International Airport
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Association of Georgian Airports of Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the economic security program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The event was attended by the State Representative of the Imereti Region Zviad Shalamberidze, First Deputy Ioseb Khakhaleishvili and USAID Georgia Mission Director Peter Weibler.
The signing ceremony was held at Kutaisi International Airport. The document was signed by Tamar Archuadze, Director of Georgian Airports Association and Mark McCord, USAID Economic Security Program Director.
The Memorandum aims at deepening cooperation in marketing and communications, as well as finding investors.
Today, the State Representative of the region, together with the staff of the Georgian Airports Association, got acquainted with the construction process of a new terminal.
