Zviad Shalamberidze met with Kherson Region Governor in framework of working visit
State Representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze has met with the Governor of Kherson region Yuriy Gusev during his working visit to Ukraine. Georgian Consul to Odessa Tornike Berekashvili, Head of Georgian Trading House Sandro Topuria and Director of Construction College "Construct 2" Tamar Zakarashvili attended the meeting together with the State Representative in Odessa.
At the meeting the sides discussed issues related to tourism and business, as well as cooperation in infrastructure projects and friendship of the regions.
The parties made a decision to become friends with the Kherson and Imereti. The official signing ceremony will be held on May 2, in Kutaisi, on the occasion of "Gviriloba".
As Governor of Kherson region noted at the meeting, Georgia is exemplary in many ways and sharing its experience in a variety of areas, including winemaking, as this field is in the early stages of development in Kherson. According to Yuri Gusev, during his visit to Imereti he will visit wine cellars and get detailed information. "It was a very interesting and impressive meeting, we discussed the issues of cooperation and I think the cooperation between the two regions will be very successful. We are currently at a stage of development where we need an experience from different countries and regions, including Kherson region, which also has an airport and the issue of air travel between Kutaisi-Kherson was also discussed at the meeting", - said the state representative in Imereti.
As the governor of the Kherson region noted, the work on air travel will continue, so that Ukrainian citizens can arrive from Kherson to Kutaisi and from Kutaisi to Kherson with direct flights.
The State representative invited the Governor of Kherson region together with representatives of local business circles in Kutaisi, agreed that they would participate in the International Business Forum in Kutaisi on May 3-4.
Today Zviad Shalamberidze met with the Mayor of Kherson and discussed issues of cooperation.
