THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

Zviad Shalamberidze, State Representative in Imereti together with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine Teimuraz Sharashenidze, met with journalists and bloggers interested in tourism. The meeting was held at the Embassy of Georgia to Ukraine.

Ukrainian journalists and bloggers were interested  in what tourists can see in Imereti. The State Representative provided them with comprehensive information about the tourist potential of Imereti.

As Zviad Shalamberidze noted, Imereti is distinguished by rich history, cultural heritage, nature, gastronomy, wine and hospitality.

At the same time, the State Representative talked about the rehabilitation project of Tskaltubo, which will start soon and it is of great importance for the development of Imereti tourism potential.

In addition, Zviad Shalamberidze made a presentation about the tourism infrastructure in Imereti and showed them the promotional video of Kutaisi.

Journalists and bloggers expressed their desire to visit Imereti and explore its tourism potential.

At the meeting it was agreed that Ukrainian journalists and bloggers will visit Imereti within the framework of blogger Infotour.
