THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

Shavlego Tabatadze, State Representative in Imereti, and Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ilia Begiashvili met with the mayors and chairmen of municipal assemblies, discussing ongoing projects and timely elimination of existing shortcomings. The meeting focused on transitional projects, where the works include several stages and components. The mayors presented detailed information on the announcement of tenders for infrastructural projects in the municipalities in 2019 and timeframes for starting the works.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the National Food Agency and presented an action plan to be implemented in 2019.

Regional consultation council of the State Representative in Imereti was also held today. Changes have been made to the Action Plan of the Regional Development Strategy. In particular, 37 infrastructural projects were added to the Fund for the Projects to be implemented in the Region and the amendments were made in 2 projects. 18 projects have been added to the disaster prevention plan. Council members unanimously supported the amendments.
