Besik Gopodze, Deputy State Representative in Imereti, together with journalists, visited Center for Children with Disabilities "Tairisi" and congratulated them with the World Down Syndrome Day.The deputy and journalists joined them in various activities and participated in the planned events. In turn, children with disabilities delivered musical performances for the guests.

 "On March 21 the World Day of Down Syndrome, the Day of Georgian Journalism and Forest Day is celebrated. In this regard, the Administration of the State Representative, together with journalists planned a joint action and we visited the Center for Children with Disabilities, getting involved in various activities and learned about their everyday environment and educational process.

Together with the journalists, Imereti Forest Agency staff and children, we planted the trees symbolically. We, being friends, do not count chromosomes and we are planning to implement many more activities in the future," said Besik Goposhidze.

The Administration of the State Representative in Imereti has been conducting various actions on this day for the fourth consecutive year.
