State Representative in Imereti is paying an Official Visit to Poland

Shavlego Tabatadze, State Representative in Imereti, is paying an official visit to Poland. Members of the Georgian delegation are actively holding meetings with state agencies as well as business sector representatives. Shavlego Tabatadze and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Poland Ilia Darchiashvili met with Marek Wozniak of Marshal of Wielkopolska Voivodship. At the meeting, the sides discussd future cooperation, establishment of close interregional links and implementation of joint projects. Special emphasis was made on funding grants, exchange programs and students financing.

State Representative, along with the members of the Georgian delegation met with the representatives business sector and discussed Imereti potential. Also, he attended the largest construction exhibition "BUDMA", where he got acquainted with the latest technologies and materials.

In the frames of the visit, the State Representative in Imereti Shavlego Tabatadze laid a wreath on the tomb of Platon Takaishvili, a famous Georgian hero active in Poland.

The members of the Georgian official delegation to Poland were: State Representative in Imereti Shavlego Tabatadze, Kutaisi mayor Giorgi Chigvaria, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Khvtisiashvili and Deputy Director of "Produce in Georgia" Tornike Sulaberidze. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Poland Ilia Darchiashvili actively participated in the meetings.

In the city of Poznan the Georgian delegation was hosted by Wielkopolska Development Fund, under the guidance of Hubert Zobel (President of the Fund).

Imereti Governor Shavlego Tabatadze has scheduled a meeting with the Gembiak & Mikstacki Company, which is interested in investing in Georgia, particularly in Imereti.
