Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili visited Imereti region. The President, along with the State Representative in Imereti region Shavlego Tabatadze, visited Gudiashvili panel in Tskaltubo, several sanatoriums and the Satsurblia cave.

"The purpose of the visit of the President of Georgia is to get acquainted with the tourism potential of Imereti region. Within two days Mrs. Zourabichvili will visit various tourist attractions in Tskhaltubo and Kutaisi. Today we have seen several sanatoriums in Tskhaltubo, which require development and attraction of investments. You know that Tskaltubo is a balneological resort and tourists often visit this municipality, so it is necessary to develop Tskaltubo furthermore. We are pleased that the President is interested in the potential of the region. During the visit we provide sufficient information on what support we need and how we see Imereti development plan,” said Shavlego Tabatadze.

The President of Georgia will visit the farm of the grandchild of Otia Ioseliani, who continues the traditions of honey and kvevri wine production. She will also visit the company "Herbia", which produces ecologically safe products, greens and vegetables.

The President will stop at the Inclusive Center for Children and visit the beneficiaries. At the end of the day, she will meet with representatives of various social sectors. Tskaltubo majoritarian MP Tsotne Zurabiani and mayor of the municipality Grigol Ioseliani will attend the meeting.
