Various types of works are actively underway to eradicate damages caused by disaster in Imereti. Transfer of the materials to the affected population continues in the municipalities. The first stage of rehabilitation works has also started in some way.

Shavlego Tabatadze, Governor of Imereti, visited the affected families today and got acquainted with the current situation.

"The damage inflicted by the disaster is being calculated. At this moment, the damage to Imereti is estimated to cost 2 448 000 GEL. This data is not final because citizens are still providing information about damages to the mayors and relevant territorial governing bodies. The information changes every hour and may increase the amount of damage. The government is doing everything to eradicate problems in time. That's why I go to the families of the victims and discuss with them the issues necessary for the rehabilitation works, "said Shavlego Tabatadze.

Imereti governor continues visiting families affected by disaster and plans to visit all municipalities, except Kutaisi.
