Navenakhevi Cave Opened in Terjola

Natenkhevi cave was opened in Terjola. Within the framework of the project, which was financed from the central budget, the tourist trail, the cave infrastructure, the visitor's center, the cafeteria, the souvenir shop and the educational space were allocated.

First Deputy Governor of Imereti, Grigol Dalakishvili, Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Iuri Nozadze, Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Valerian Mchedlidze and representatives of local government visited Navanekhevi cave in Imereti.

The two-storied cave, with four halls is distinguished with different forms of stalagmites and stalactites that were popular to visitors in the 80s, but was later shut down for tourists due to the outdated of the infrastructure.
