New Ambulance Building Opened in Sachkhere
Sachkhere has a new administrative center for ambulance. The building was officially opened by: the State Representative-Governor in Imereti Region - Shavlego Tabatadze, Director of Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center - Avtandil Talakvadze, majoritarian MP from Sachkhere – Paata Kvizhinadze and the Mayor of Sachkhere Municipality – Benjamin Palavandishvili.
The newly updated building is well equipped with necessary inventories and digital technologies. There are 11 rooms in total: office rooms, patient’s day room and technical facilities. Outer perimeter includes parking space for ambulance transport. All 12 Imereti municipalities possess modern and functional ambulance centers, of which 11 received buildings in the past 3 years, with the support of Imereti Regional Administration.
From 2017 on, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, together with the local self-governing bodies, is managing a project for maintaining the Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center with administrative buildings.
