THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE ADMINISTRATION

On October 3, 2018 State Representative-Governor in Imereti Shavlego Tabatadze and Ambassador of Sweden in Georgia Ulrik Tideström attended charity action in Kharagauli Municipality. Doctors from the “Stockholm Association of Hearing Loss” examined more than 800 persons, among which 40 were diagnosed with some hearing problems. 16 patients received hearing aids for free.

Swedish doctors will remain in Kharagauli for 2 weeks and examine all the children in municipality kindergartens, along with the school children. Swedish doctors provided specialized training courses to the doctors at Kharagauli kindergartens and schools. They also trained a representative from the Public Health Center, who will receive hearing aids from Sweden and will provide continuous audiological care. 

The Governor of Imereti, together with the local self-government, expressed gratitude to the Swedish doctors. The group of Swedish doctors visited Kharagauli for the second time this year and their charity activities cost around 100.000 GEL.
