2018 State Representative-Governor in Imereti Shavlego Tabatadze, his First Deputy Grigol Dlakaishvili, Chairmen of Kutaisi City Assembly Nikoloz Lataria, MP from Kutaisi Genadi Margvelashvili and the Cadet Lyceum representatives laid floral garlands and paid homage to the memorial of victims of the War in Abkhazia 1992-93. Civil service was held at the memorial, attended by the family members of the war victims.

“Today 25 years have passed after the fall of Sokhumi. This was one of the most challenging times in our newest history. Soldiers, volunteers and civil population fell victim to that unequal war. All the victims sacrificed their lives to the unity and prosperity of our homeland. Therefore, we are obliged to respect them and once again deliver words of condolences to their families” – said Governor Tabatadze.
