One More Small-contingent School Established in Imereti
On September 24, 2018 Governor Shavlego Tabtadze, together with the self-government of Tskaltubo Municipality opened the small-contingent school in the village Gumati. At this stage, there will be 16 pupils in the school, in two classes. The newly constructed building cost 422.307 GEL.
“It is very important that you start the new semester in the comfortable environment. The building where you studied last year was outdated and unfit for the learning process. Today this problem is solved and you will continue your education in the modern-standard building. This is truly successful project for those regions and villages, which had no school so far. The students had to walk several kilometers every day to reach the schools. Our country needs an educated generation and the government does its best to carry out relevant reforms and projects” – stated Governor Tabatadze.
This is the second school built within the project for small-contingent schools building. On September 17, 2018 Governor Tabatadze opened new school in the village Bajiti of Sachkhere Municipality.
