“Congratulations with the beginning of the new semester. This day is important for every pupil and teacher. This day has a special meaning for the first-class pupils. Our country needs educated youth and I trust, all the teachers will do their best to educate worthy generations. You provide our children the most valuable thing – education, for which I am truly thankful. One of the main priorities for the government is the education and, lately, we carried out numerous successful reforms in this regard. Having this in mind, I would underline some: provision of free textbooks to pupils, granting PCs to first-class pupils and their transportation by school-busses. Lots of other reforms are underway by the Ministry of Education and Science. We pay particular attention to the improvement of school infrastructure in Imereti and the rest of Georgia. This infrastructure is being updated on a stage-by-stage basis. Today, around 20 schools are being fully repaired in Imereti. We do our utmost to provide the pupils with comfortable environment for learning” – said Governmor Tabatadze.
The State Representative visited N3 Public School of Sachkhere, which he graduated from, and congratulated teachers and students with the beginning of a new semester. He was symbolically awarded the title of Honorary Ambassador.
