Katskhi Pillar – Popular Historical Monument among Tourists

The projects aims at building living spaces for monks, improvement of water-sewage network, rehabilitation of the ancient walls and management of inner yard. 10-ton water reservoir will be installed that will satisfy the needs of monks, as well as local population. Additionally, service center will be established and tourist infrastructure will be improved, that will be fully adapted to the requirements of persons with disabilities.
The project will finish by 2018, that will promote tourism development and provide employment opportunities for locals.
