Imereti State Representative Zviad Shalamberidze held a meeting with the leadership of Guiyang Medical University within the framework of his official visit to China. At the meeting, the parties discussed the perspective of mutual cooperation between higher educational institutions and the implementation of joint projects in the future.

After the meeting, the delegation visited university campuses and research centers.

Guiyang Medical University (GMU) owns 18 study units, 13 schools and 5 departments where students receive continuous education in various fields of medicine.

With constantly improving teaching and research competence, GMU is one of the best universities in China. This higher education institution cooperates with famous universities of USA, Sweden, Japan and other 9 countries.
