May 26 is the birthday of Georgian national hero Merab Kostava.
Zviad Shalamberidze, State Representative in Imereti, Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, Deputy State Representative, Davit Eremeishvili, Acting Mayor of Kutaisi, Irakli Shengelia, and Acting Chairman of the City Council decorated the monument to Merab Kostava with flowers. Georgian national hero Merab Kostav would have turned 81 today.
